"All About Perfume" strives to be a collection of high-quality resources
about perfume, especially the history and manufacture of perfume, along with a gallery of perfume-related images. The goal
of this library is to assemble in one place the most credible, authoritative, content-rich, and diverse print and electronic
resources available.
Collection Policy
This digital library collection aims to include materials in print
and/or digital formats in English that have been written and published by reputable sources. Wherever possible, reviews of
print materials from Booklist, Library Journal, or Publishers Weekly have been consulted in the selection
process, and included in the description of materials. Commercial websites in the collection have been annotated in order
to point visitors towards the most useful or interesting parts of the site.
Organization of Collection
This digital library collection has been organized into three sections:
Print resources (books and periodical articles), online resources (websites and electronic documents), and an image gallery.
The gallery consists of numerous perfume-related images. Use of the images has been secured from the copyright owners.
Images sizes have been kept small on the main gallery page to allow faster downloads, but larger images are available for
those who would like to view more detail. In several cases, the copyright owner requested that a link to his/her website
be placed with the image, and this request has been honored.
